First of all, I want to say THANK YOU for all of the wonderful members on this board who sent me donations after our house fire. I was so moved by the gesture, I am not afraid to admit that I shed a tear or two when I saw the paypal payments waiting. Many things have been going on in my life, most of them bad. As many of you already knew, my house was victim of a fire that claimed 100% of our belongings and our 2 cats in the first week of February. As for living quarters, I am now living with my sister about 50miles from my school, and my parents are living with my AUnt and uncle, about 25miles from my sister's house. Unfortunately, the fire happened 3 days after I was in an accident that totalled our Nissan Xterra, which left our family without a vehicle. My dad took care of that buy buying this little beast: 
It is an awesome car, and a whole hell of alot of fun to drive. He ended up getting it brand new, with a sunroof, and 3 miles for $26.4K out the door with the 100,000mi warranty :) !!!!
BUT, as usual, this week I was blasted with a real hard piece of news; When my father was having a hernia operated on, the found traces of testicular cancer, and had to remove his vas deferens (sp?), and one of his testicles. In fear of cancer originating from another part of his body, over the next week he was tested and given MRIs on all parts of his body. The results weren't good. The found tumors on his Liver, both of his lungs, and on his spine. The are not certain, but they have deemed that is is potentially terminal, although he may qualify for experimental treatments......
As of right now, I am so confused and scared, I just dont know what to do. I went through this whole process with my mother 6 years ago when she was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, and It really scares me that I have to do it again. Luckily my mom is still alive (although somewhat disabled), and I know my dad has the strength of a titan for what he has been through.
I am not posting for sympathy, but I hope that some of you may have my family in your thoughts and prayers over the next few months. God Bless
